~Book Twice a year we hold a book sale in the
Sequoia Mall located at
Mooney & Cauldwell. Money from the book sale
has enabled us to give over $250,000 in college scholarships over the past 10
years. The next book sale will occur on: Sales are held from 10 am
to 9 pm. Most books sell for under
$2.00. Because of the intense efforts needed to set up the sale, pre-sale of
books during the set-up day are sold for twice the price on the normal sales
days – still a bargain! And it supports scholarships for members of the
community! Books are collected throughout the year at the
collection box just inside the located
at Akers and ( In October 2009, the sales
raised over $17,000 thanks to weekly volunteer efforts of our members, and
volunteer assistance with transportation and set-up prior to the sale
